Domaine Paul Zinck is a family owned winery in the small Alsace village of Eguisheim, just south of Colmar. The domain was founded in 1964.
The winery of Paul Zinck combines tradition, like hand harvest, and modern methods like stainless steel fermentation, to produce its wines. The vineyard is planted with all the typical grapes of Alsace, like riesling, gewurztraminer and pinot gris.
For the Portrait Collection the grapes grown on the foot of the hills are used and these wines express particularly well the grape variety. The higher altitude grapes are made into wines expressing more of the terroir. These wines are sold under the label Terroir Collection. Domaine Paul Zinck makes four different Alsace Grand Cru: Rangen, Eichsberg, Pfersigberg and Goldert. Domaine Paul Zinck has a restaurant called Au Vieux Porche located in the winery. Here you can try a number of typical Alsatian specialities like choucroute, charcuterie and foie gras.
